At Billboard's pre-Grammy event, Lana Del Rey announced that her next album will be a country project titled Lasso and will drop in September. Apparently she's been working with Jack Antanoff in Nashville for this musical departure.

I don't believe it and I certainly don't want it. My bf said this morning about this that Lana is the female Danzig: she hypes up these imaginary projects that never come to fruition (the covers album she promised for years that no one wants) then releases something half baked (Blue Bannisters). Lana should say less in general and just release music.
