Florence goes old school for this cover of Vera Lynn's "White Cliffs of Dover". The song is part of the soundtrack for Apple+'s upcoming "The New Look" about fashion icon Christian Dior.

My brain read that as "Applebee's New Look" and I was like huh, didn't know they pulled themselves out of bankruptcy; good for them!

i didn't want to make the title too long, and it's not like any of the band was involved in this. (lbr F+TM is a Florence solo project at this point, artistically. Isa, aka the machine, hasn't been part of Dance Fever and i think wasn't part of the writing for HAH either.)

I have not heard about this project but I will absolutely be watching because I love the new look. I'm so glad I got to see the Dior exhibit at the ROM several years ago.
