I heard they were making it into a movie which is- hmm because the entire point is that you made choices and the game outcome changes. A movie will just lose that.

Sure you can save people, but the stories ended up being pretty similar imo. I think they'd probably go with the "best" ending where at at least one person survives and they blow up the creatures.
