I don't mind dating apps but I'm very awkward in real life so meeting people in person straight away is better so they know what they are getting into! I'll just have to roam around dingy concert halls looking for either a nice long haired metalhead or someone who looks like an evil retired forest creature with a goatee.

Yes messaging is hard with a stranger! When you don't know someone their texting style (Or their response time) it can be difficult to keep it all in the air.

Like let's just go for a coffee and it's all much more fun! And in real life you can also ask all the questions that are boring online but MUCH easier to spice up irl with a funny joke, an expression or body movement. Everything is BETTER.

I don't do them either. They're sensory overload for me and just so superficial. If you're over 30 you get over looked over unless you strive to look like a 20 year old instagram model or a Kardashian. Plus the last few years have been hell for me so I just hate life a bit tbh.
