Thankfully all the people I've seen live have been good.

I'd like to go to a Rihanna concert to hear the songs but I know full well it'll semi-fun just cause she's never been much a performer. I've always said she's lucky she's got hits for days and is BEYOND pretty because if not....no way she would've made it.

Seeing the Madonna one and was surprised that Lauryn Hill wasn't mentioned until I clicked and lol it's the first comment!

I hate saying this because my favorite band, but Massive Attack ruined my favorite song by essentially playing noise at the end for a long time 😔 that said the performance of Teardrop was incredible, so it saved everything.

2019. At the end of Dissolved Girl they went on what felt like a long improv solo that didn’t fit with the song and sounded like noise to me.

ah, the Mezzanine anniversary tour.
I didnt get to attend that one. I know the album vocalist for that song didnt go on tour (i think shes a teacher and declined to go on the road? They played along to an acapella track of the studio recording vocals, right?)

HEALTH opened for nine inch nails when i saw them and i was convinced the lead singer must be a nepo baby because they were god fucking awful.

senses fail was also bad when i saw them at the taste of chaos tour.

There is an interview with HEALTH from the time they toured with NIN. They basically said the crowd hated them and gave them shit lol

it's true! i don't know if our ENTIRE crowd hated them but they were not good the night i saw them.

RHCP. They were AWFUL it was off key and no one cared about the audience. This was right around Californication and I'd been such a fan

Bob Dylan takes the cake for me. He was so terrible, and everyone started leaving.

can't think of a concert i regret going because of the band, but i have definitely been bummed out by weak crowds a few times. the kills and st. vincent, for example.

Yeah, this is me. Most of the shows I've seen were really good, but definitely crowds can make or break a show.

That's so true though. I hate going to movies or a stage show that's a comedy and people don't laugh. Like why the fuck are you here then?

Same. I went to a kpop show a few years ago where my sister and I got seats like 5 rows from the front, we were the only fans around us that knew any of the cheoreo. Even the little parts for chorus' and stuff. And like, it's kpop; choreography is a third of what they do.

What I think is even worse is the fact by that point my sister and I had only liked this group for a few months vs the years that I heard some of these fans talking about.
