NGL I love my hometown but I have a weird fascination with watching it get super wrecked on screen by some kind of wild disaster. Not sure why. Maybe it's seeing the city resolutely bounce back from all manner of real life wreckage every single damn time it happens, so even if aliens or ghosts or massive floods or whatever happen just having that sense of "okay, but NY will probably heal and continue." makes it okay.

Also while I do not have my husband's particular Ghostbuster obsession (that was his Childhood Movie), I've been enjoying all of the later ones, though admittedly this one HAD me when Patience (the NYPL lion on the left) roars into the camera.

Walter Peck coming back, bless it. His absolute hatred of the Ghostbusters is perfect foil writing.

"Yes, it's true your honor: this man has no dick".

:O < the look on his face after that is said, lol

Apparently William Atherton actually was furious at the scriptwriter because for years people would stick their heads out of car windows and whatnot and yell "Hey Dickless!" at him.

Oh shit!

Having him in the game was perfection, he just lives on as the Ghostbusters' sarcastic, anti-ghost hater and seeing him in the movie I will see it just for him to pop off at Bill Murray's character.

I...kinda wanna see this? My 80s soul is entertained, but I didn't see the new one just the ladies version (which I liked, don't @ me).

Oh hell no with a library ghost. My neighbor told me to cover my eyes when it came on screen in the OG, but I was like “nooo. Im 5. I’m not scared. I can handle it.” Wrong! I didn’t sleep with my back to the door of my bedroom for years because I was convince the library ghost was gonna bust in.

The library ghost and Poltergeist were the only things that ever scared me as a kid.
