None of the reviews I’ve read of Miller’s Girl suggest it’s about what people were initially saying it’s about.

They do suggest it’s crap though.

I went to the IMAX reissue of Dune (2021) last night and it was so glorious!! At the end, they showed us a whole scene from Part 2! WORM RIDING! That score hits so hard too.

I want to find something to watch this weekend, hopefully All Of Us Strangers or American Fiction if any showings fit in between other plans.

i went to dune too and omg that was my first time getting the PROPER theatrical experience for it. i saw it in imax when it was first released but it was an early screening so it was packed and my seat was like 2nd row, holy shiiiit that movie is so fucking good! can't wait for part two, i managed to get my early screening ticket for that via amc a-list before they removed it from being a-list eligibile.

Same!!! I got perfect seats, too. They better not take it away. I cannot fucking wait!

Thankfully, I did get to see the first one in IMAX a couple times, from good seats, but I would have loved the chance to watch it that way again before the new one. I remember I went to see it again at the last showing before it left IMAX, and the sound was fucked and they were just like "sorry, please leave" and it was very disappointing. Oh well!!
