He wouldn't need to be the more popular one. Louis is out there touring the world, even not having the biggest fandom , niall was able to carve himself a niche and when the second/third album sort of flop went the the voice way. If Liam was less messy and didn't try to be a wanabbr jt when it was already cheesy he would be able to carry fans from his 1d days and have a career
