The original is silly and Patrick was the only reason it worked so good luck I guess

Some movies just need to be left alone. Roadhouse only worked because the 80s were as ridiculous as Swayze was handsome and charming.

The trailer for the 2024 Roadhouse reimagining

I read that as "A24 Roadhouse reimagining" and was vaguely interested for a second until I realised lol.

Honestly, A24 is probably the only studio who could maybe pull off this remake. They def would have not picked Gyllenhaal for this though...

I feel like Jake has just completely given up on whatever career he used to aspire to. Like he just seems to do random Michael Bay films and unnecessary remakes now? What happened dude?

He doesn’t deserve whatever career he aspired to have, let him make flops forever

You're right. I haven't thought about it but his last good role was what?... Nocturnal Animals? That was a while ago (and I think it was Amy Adams last good role too).

When and what did he used to aspire to? He was an indie darling for like 3 years starting when he got noticed in Donnie Darko, peaked at Brokeback and then so many flops, floating into near-obscurity.
