i hope they're able to get fair compensation. rob doesn't care at all. he just does ridiculousness for the check. his passions have gone elsewhere. mtv really shot itself in the foot by relying so heavily on him. interesting watch below.

I saw this because someone (maybe you 😃) posted about it in a MTV related post and it as fascinating. It sounds like he essentially became a sellout.

rob and big was great (rip big <3)

but to go from 30 episodes, to 336 a year for however many years its been on is beyond well deserved.
i also can not believe it is still on, but they definitely deserve all the money.

or they can just cancel the show 12 years past it's prime?

then they have nothing else to fill up the space (jk, they have catfish and jerzdays but that is it)

then make other shows? or just re-air their old ones. reshow old seasons of The Challenge, why don't they ever do that? that's a fairly popular show.

they do still make new seasons of catfish, jersey shore, and I believe teen mom, but it seems like ridiculousness is the only one they can churn out often and cheap. catfish still is on season 8 but is up in 80+ episodes, as if they're just continuing the same season. it's weird and I bet they don't want to negotiate for a new season.
