Unless I find something more intriguing, I’m going back to Cosrx’s BHA since I’m not currently using one. My topicals cream may not have the strongest actives anymore, but I refuse to throw it out so I’m finishing the tube along with TO’s Ascorbic acid and Resveratol.

I was also looking at those Mediheal toner pads, but $30???? I think there are 100 psc but damn.

on monday, i'm visiting a dermatologist for the first time ever to see if i can get formally put on treatment to deal with this wack ass acne (edit: i say formally because i tried going through nurx and they didn't take my insurance).

my brother has dealt with cystic acne + hyperpigmentation since puberty and was put on a regimen that truly did wonders for him. he still has deals with some residual whiteheads and whatever, but his skin looked so much more clear. like, much of his hyperpigmentation has cleared up.

i want that for me, too because i'm tired of this shit ruining my self-esteem.

I have been using more Korean skincare products lately. Can't wait for the day Japanese skincare finally goes cruelty free, it's taking them forever (fuck China)

Any suggestions for first-timers with Korean skincare?

I don't know your skin type but I would recommend trying out Purito's products (their Galacto Niacin 97 Power Essence is great). Other good brands are Klairs and Benton, in my experience. I love Klairs' Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask and Barulab's masks as well (they have loads of types for every skin condition).

I hope this helps but if you have more specific questions feel free to ask!

I always heard great things about Korean skincare. I want to try, at least, one thing.. I just don't know where to start. I think what you suggested - would be great for me to start somewhere!

Gracias!! <3
