I feel like this season started strong/had promise but was bloated and suffered from how to tie everyone together/wrap things up. Witt’s fate and inclusion felt so utterly pointless by the end.
The entire show was (not so)secretly an ad for KIA and it really took me out at multiple points.
My biggest question I have remaining is HOW DID WAYNE END UP WITH THAT SEVERE AN ACCENT??? HOW?? His mom was so posh and his dad even sounded a little British? Idk. It stretched my limits of belief heavily.
loved this season, the things that initially bothered me with how it wrapped up in the last two episodes i am actually liking the more i think about it
I'm PISSED about poor Whit, he didn't deserve to go out like that! 😶 I liked that Roy will suffer in prison though and rightfully so, and that Gator had a bit of a redemption arc (though imo that only really came about once he was blinded and left to fend for himself like that by his heinous dad). I guess that final scene confirms that Ole Monk is far older than he looks?
just finished the episode and it was good, i thought it was going to be like a huge fight because of the build-up but i loved the end with Dorothy and Ole Munch, i imagine now he in every family event lol aaah i hated Witt's end, very unnecessary (also Juno's wig was awful)
One thing we didn't get to see: We talked about the throughline of debt. That’s a major theme of this season. In fact, there was an episode that was cut … [where] they were going to have a debt meter and it was always going to track what this person owes, what that person owes. And it gets to my character and it says he owes nothing, except for he has to help this woman out and he won’t stop until he does.
