This is great news imo. I've said in just about every post that mentions HoH that it has always had so much potential and just desperately needed a real producer. I'm assuming this fourth host will be someone who is keeping Holly, Brian, and Drew on track and will take a lot of the "interviewing" lift off of Drew, since both Holly and Brian have difficulty recalling BTS without the conversation totally devolving.

I'm hoping this deal was lucrative enough to allow Holly to go into seasons 1 and 2 with fresh eyes, share her real experience, and still give fans the bts details they crave instead of only focusing on the negative.

I dropped off listening, but the Boy Meets World rewatch podcast is still one of the better examples of a well-structured rewatch podcast with former stars who had varied experiences but more or less all left with trauma (especially from its creator) and came back to the material to give fans what they want without compromising their experiences.

I stopped listening because of HMC's negativity too, so I hope the reboot means more delicious BTS tea. I loved it when she went into detail. Drew is so great and deserves his roses for the work he's done thus far.

ITA! Drew has done great work and clearly took this seriously. The first few episodes showed that alone before it was cannibalized by the trio's personal relationship that he was tip-toeing through. I'm hoping this deal will benefit his original vision for the show and he gets the production support he needs to make this something that's worth while for them and fans.

I saw a clip of Holly storming off the podcast on TikTok. I just feel sad for her, she seems to have a lot of bitterness in her heart idk. I really need everyone who took part in this show to heal because I’m doing my first full binge and I love it so much! I caught eps here and there when I was a kid but I never fully understood the dynamics or what was going on. But now as an adult it’s become a special series to me.

Honestly I dont think her "walking off" the podcast was anything serious. She's a very sarcastic person so she likely was just playing around.

Glad you're enjoying t show overall though! Its hard for me to watch S5+ but Paige was a good character overall.

ik I'm always on the Holly hate train but while she is joking, she's so deeply serious! She wouldn't have brought up how Brian only recently apologized to her for not standing by her when he was dating Alyssa during Shannen's departure otherwise.

I threw on an episode on Paramount Plus last night because there was nothing else to watch, and oh my god, it was terrible.

They've changed all the music.
I mean, I haven't rewatched in years but I knew in my soul it was wrong. It makes entire episodes feel off.

I hate that Paramount changed the opening credits song, it sounds so out of place - the cover of How Soon Is Now? is just perfect for this show. Maybe they just didn't want to have to pay to use it.

Oh yeah, Paramount stripped most of the music to keep the costs down. Thats why I only rewatch S1-4 on bluray. 5-8...I dont mind streaming since it reinforces how different a show it is by then
