MTE. She's really reaching with the "it's about wanting what's going to destroy you" meaning gay. Like that's not also representative of sex-obsessed virgins, which I thought Stephanie Meyers is/was?

Anyway her comments are giving me JK Rowling trying to add depth and back story to the Harry Potter characters even years after the stories have ended.

Meyer had three kids when she wrote Twilight. I don't think she was a virgin at that point.

This entire franchise is an insult to functioning brain cells, let alone the lgbtq community. I never understood its massive appeal. I couldn't even get through the first book.
