might check out napoleon this weekend, even though my expectations are low and i'm going into already thinking joaquin was miscast (he's way too old and they should have kept vanessa kirby but had her opposite someone younger, but i won't go into the full rant lol). i've seen people talking about how they lift the dawn score from pride and prejudice 2005 and i need to see that in action.

i'm seeing the new mean girls in a few days and i don't need that to be good, just please be fun!

Saw it last night. I thought it was fun and the theater seemed to agree.

I've been watching lots of Spirit and other nominated films this past week like Passages and Foe and Birth/Rebirth. Whoa, these films were all stunning in a variety of ways. I can recommend them all but be prepared to be angry and yelling at people to make better choices, wide-eyed and thirsty in a parched world and grossed out but equally fascinated respectively. So many amazing films to see and so little time.

I saw mean girls today, fun movie. Not sure if I will be able to see any other movies this week. But thinking of watching Book of Clarence next week. I want to see Iron Claw because I keep seeing comments here highly praising it. Also just sw that my theater just got American Fiction that has been on my list.
