i picked sophie. love ayo, but feel like she's getting pretty well known and getting her shine in other avenues already. if we are just talking films that these people starred in last year, I think sophie was the most impressive for being relatively new to the scene. i haven't seen how to have sex though, so maybe mia mckenna bruce is doing something too lol.

I've been impressed w Jacobs acting from what I've seen (he was the only one who humanised his character in wretched SB) and don't have the aversion most users here seem to, but Ayo really has that star quality that you cannot learn or buy. Plus, she is compelling, witty, and warm on screen and in her writing.

Tbh i had an aversion first but then made myself watch his stuff because i only knew him from euphoria and kissing booth and it just confirmed what i thought lol i find him so wooden and he emotes so poorly and the accent in sb, like did he even try

tbf I have only seen him in saltburn and priscilla, but your point about the accent is funny! I thought he portrayed that toff English person trying to downplay his toff accent around his less posh friend away from the eyes of his toff peers thing really well, even if it wasn't intentional
