i randomly happened to see that his ex Alexis got married very shortly after their breakup (like maybe a year later) and that's always so weird to me when someone is in a relationship for nearly a decade without marriage and then immediately marries the next person they date

I used to think it was weird too but actually not becoming a lot of times people stay in relationships because they’re comfortable after being together for so long and don’t know or are scared to get out. I wonder if the ex wanted marriage and kids or maybe she didn’t want those things with HIM

yeah that's fair, i guess it'd just be personally hard for me to go from an 8 year relationship that didn't work out to immediately being ready to believe a lifetime commitment would
