Honestly I started watching that stand up and it was so unfunny and bordering on homophobic I went “nah” and switched off

Maybe homophobic is too strong or there was some payoff if I’d kept watching but wasn’t feeling it

i liked when he just roasted every celebrity to their faces when he hosted the golden globes back in the day but that's probably the last time i ever found him tolerably amusing.

james ancaster does a great bit where he makes fun of him and basically sums up why i don't bother to watch his shit. plus, all the reviews (except one) that i've seen/read all said it was terrible.

It's annoying because I really liked After Life, but as a person I find Ricky Gervais just gives me a lot of ick

Who else was nominated for Best Supporting Actress? I don't watch the Crown so am curious if any of my Succession faves lost out
