According to one of the unions in Atlanta, the show began filming on December 4. Since they changed the format so much for S18, I wonder if they still did audition rounds or if they just jumped straight into the actual competition. .Either way, the show wasn't scheduled to begin airing until March so it will be interesting to see if they completely edit Nigel out of what they've already filmed or if they're going to leave him in.

They got lucky with the Matthew Morrison situation because when his scandal came out, they only had one more audition show (which they had filmed ahead of time) that was left to air.

Okay, now that I've read his statement, I'm still rolling my eyes. He only said he's stepping back from participating (judging) this season. Bruh, you are under investigation for harassing a fellow judge on the same show. Of course the higher ups weren't going to allow you to remain on the show while there's an active investigation. But sure, try to make it sound like you are being gracious and that this was a choice you made.

Didn't he say disgusting things in public/was recorded in an interview with Us Weekly? It's in the previous post. How are you going to clear your name from that?
