I made myself watch the first episode up until Emma Stone does the Shabbat blessings, just because I wanted to see her do them, then I turned it off. Too much cringe. It's too much and I know way too many people like that and...ugh. No. No. I mean, I guess they did a good job because the cringe is the point, but no, this is not my kind of show.

I’ve heard people love it and people hate it. I’ve heard it’s weird and awkward and uncomfortable. What about it would y’all makes it so divisive? I’m generally comfortable with awkward.

it's is definitely weird, awkward, and uncomfortable. But it's also so good. It's kind of a dark, uncomfortable satire with moments of absurd comedy. It's a slow burn, and def not for everybody. Watch an ep or two and if you're not into it, skip it.

As someone who is not generally interested in uncomfortable/anxiety inducing type of content I am LOVING this show... It's pretty slow paced, doesn't do what you'd predict episode to episode, and has a lot of physically cringeworthy scenes lol but to me it's extremely compelling, well written and directed and acted, and I've been totally hooked episode to episode waiting to see where in the fuck it's gonna go

I couldn’t get past the first two episodes. I think Fielder is just not for me and that does bum me out a bit. like I just kept thinking about how much I would like this show if it had…a good actor at the center of this to go toe to toe w/emma
