As someone from a fine arts photography graduate program until I switched to something I felt I stood a chance of earning a living at, what is lighting? what are angles? what is composition? Literally anyone can call themselves a photographer these days. Maybe I shoulda stuck with it.

Find a job that allows you the money to follow your passion. You understand photography better than this guy so don't give up on it, but you also understand the reality of the situation so have a back-up plan <3
