she's profoundly uncultured and insecure, she was cool in the beginning of her career because that was a way to bring attention to herself because she never got over how her rich parents divorced, remarried and raised other children. she doesn't have a personality or morals, she just cares about being perceived a certain way and she can't help trying to make elon like her again because that's the closest to heaven she ever got. Her mom is a lawyer and journalist. I wouldn't say she is famous but she has more public facing roles than most and seems generally left/centre left in her politics. Another point in her favour: she tries to keep it on the DL but she clearly has always hated Elon.

Also her husband is an Indian immigrant and she has a step-son of Indian descent. I really feel for the steps, it's ugly when family turns out to be racist.

she 100% follows a couple nazi/white supremacist accounts, or used to. i got bored once and briefly refollowed her bc of the rumors of her new following habits so i could do some snooping and lo and behold...

most are of the "western european history" variety with like, greek statues as their avatars - so, dogwhistle-y more than blatant but if you're familiar with chronically online internet subculture, as she is, you know exactly what they are. and there was one that was outright rt'ing and posting just, like, objectively misogynist, wildly racist, "anti-woke" takes. and she liked some of it lmao so. yeah. she's trying to use plausible deniability w/ "i'm an immigrant too!!" but she knows exactly who she's catering to.
