I think we're all ignoring the fact that it was a COVID-era wedding. Maybe they had expectations that didn't pan out now that life has changed since then.

I am so surprised when people who aren't super religious get married <25. To each their own, for sure, but i wonder what's the rush unless you need holy permission to have sex or want to have kids asap? Just be together?

I’m not gonna say “That’s what you get when you marry young” because I don’t know her and maybe she felt like it was forever, and she has the right to do what she wants with her life and her relationship and her money.

As long as she’s safe and happy that’s what matters. Glad she didn’t stay in a situation that wasn’t what she wanted anymore.

Imagine if they had just dated for two (or three? more) years. All they'd have to do is break up and, at worst, move out of their shared living space. Now you gotta get divorced and the trouble that comes with it, especially with them being so damn young.
