Having two hosts was a dumb idea. I’m sure she got pushed off a glass cliff, and faced misogyny by people with too much time on their hands on the internet. That said, her opinions on a variety of subjects leave a lot to be desired, but I’m sure she will find work and will continue to have an audience that likes her nonsense.
I just have never felt warmth from her. I think the awkward/know-it-all character of Blossom worked, and it was probably good on the Big Bang Theory (didn't watch), but I don't think it's a fit for most things, including hosting Jeopardy.
Like, I've always felt that she wants to lecture me. And I don't want it.
a) imo she was awful, all the time. she didn't get better at it
b) I think Ken has grown into the role and is great at it. plus for the actual Jeoparsy audience, he has a built in connection bc of his history as a contestant. The fans always had a warm spot for him.
Despite my dislike of her as a host, I was still a fan of hers bc I liked her on BBT.
I visited her FB page not too long ago. I was aghast at the blatant pro-israeli posts, the propaganda, the stealing of Palestinian cuisine, as well as the straight up misinformation she was deliberately spreading about Palestine. So that kind of has turned me off her for good.
I wanna say I hate this because misogyny (and didn't Ken cross picket lines? so that's bullshit too), but she is a truly terrible person, sooooooooo Elmo fire gif?
No, he didn’t cross. Daytime TV and game shows apparently are different under sag stuff. This explain why we got a lot of new game shows during the strike.
I have only seen the celebrity editions and the other specials that they run (mom love the show...she watches all!) I found her lacking? She did get better toward the end but idk....maybe. ...it was an energy level thing? I wasn't feeling it.
I also wonder how much the strike play in it as well.
She was not a great host at all, showed zero interest when talking to contestants at the start, took a long time to verify answers, etc. She had no passion for the job at all and I won't be sorry to see her go.
The taking forever to verify answers is what bugged me more than anything else. You'd see the contestants start to question themselves, and it was just uncomfortable to watch.

I still think Aisha Tyler would have been a great choice to host.
