i remember i think when gone girl came out i saw a review or a tweet saying she was perfect for the role because she doesn't have a lot of warmth and feels cold most of the time in other roles and i do remember that review baffling me because i thought she exuded such warmth in p&p 2005! she is fantastic at playing icy characters though so i get why those are the roles, especially post gone girl, she seems to be asked to do a lot.

I call bullshit on that review; they obviously haven't watched enough of Rosamund's filmography because she radiates warmth and charm in plenty of movies I've seen.

Right, she truly has the most angelic smile in the universe and I always think that's a plus for her even in her dark/manipulative roles, not a lack of warmth, lol. I'm constantly rooting for those characters against my own will and I felt the same thing in Saltburn.
