I liked that the challenges were relatively simple (ha, aside from figuring out how to twist the snowflake correctly) so that the bakers had a lot of freedom and flexibility in what they decided to make. I am not a fan of mince meat pie, but I was a bit disappointed that Carole was the only one who strayed from apple or cherry filling. It was great to see how well Alison got on with all of the bakers (considering that she wasn't the host when any of them competed). Her interactions with George especially made me laugh.

Netflix is a year behind, so I guess I'll watch this next year. I watched last year's Christmas & New Years episodes earlier this month.
