Bonus: Jessica loves Victorian Christmas cards so she brought several with her, and I recognized one of them from this post. Kiell then showed her another card I recognized from the same post!
He seemed very relaxed and comfortable talking to the contestants. And he was helpful getting that bolt of fabric down (almost getting brained in the process)! I wasn’t worried about him beforehand but now I know he will do a great job hosting next season.
i didn't know he'd be hosting (tbf i always forget the show exists until the new season pops up) but he was very charming. i enjoyed him a lot on taskmaster so i'm glad he seems to have found a good home for his talents here. he rly plays off esme and patrick well, and i loved him with hammed. (big hammed fan.)
I was impressed that everyone did so well in the made to measure challenge! Although Hammed's was the simplest design, it was executed really well, fit his model well, and looked great on the runway. Kerry's still looked like pajamas but they looked like very fancy glamorous lounging pajamas (the kind you would see on an old timey actress wearing while lounging on a velvet chaise longue with a long cigarette holder). Jessica's tree dress was a bit costumey but was really great for the challenge. Tovah's dress was a little boxy for my taste, but I appreciated the sewing skill it took so I was glad the judges pointed out the details.
As usual, I always love this show no matter who is sewing or what they're making. It's just so happy and fun!
This was cute! Sara Pascoe annoys me for some reason so I haven't watched this since Joe left but I enjoyed Kiell as host and I'll probably check out the next season.
I liked Hammed's made to measure, I love the fabrics he chose and it looked like it fit really well. It was a fun special, and they all did so good for people who don't even sew!
