Wait. ASkars is not in an HBO show????

And he's executive producing it???

And ONTD liked the books???

For a NEPO actor, he truly has to keep on doing what he's doing tbh. I like watching his projects.

kinda wish i had read the book before i saw he was cast in this role. i'm going to have a hard time picturing anyone else

"soap-watching security"

i will have to read it myself and find out if murderbot enjoys watching soap operas or works at a bath and body works store.

Don't know why, but I pictured a soap factory à la Fight Club.

I don't think I've ever heard of this series (though Murderbot sounds familiar) but I'm intrigued. I don't watch all of his movies and shows but I'll watch him in anything, if that makes sense. I just think he picks interesting projects and he's great at playing freaks and creeps.

the books are bite sized in length and really good imo! reading them feels like watching tv if that makes sense

Out of curiosity, can the titular Murderbot be described as a freak or a creep?

Hmm a case could be made for the freak descriptor. Definitely someone who has trouble fitting in with humanity because it's a humanoid bot with some organic parts.
