Unless you've heard me talk about this ad nauseum every holiday season, you may not know that some of the best Christmas songs you know and sing were written by Jewish songwriters. I like maybe a handful of Christmas songs and three are on this list, White Christmas, Silver Bells and The Christmas Song.

My grandfather was in Sammy Kaye’s orchestra and recorded with him from WW2 on (you can still purchase his branded/licensed reeds almost 100 years later)…
FYI if the top musicians weren’t Jewish back then they were black that’s just how it worked!!

this post reminds me of how many christian people divorce hallelujah from both cohen and cohen being jewish
