i feel guilty because i envy the After photo, even though her Before pic was so natural and gorgeous. Such an unhealthy mindset.

I don't think its an unhealthy mindset to admire/envy something you find aesthetically pleasing. It's only when it becomes obsessive and starts to interfere with the daily quality of your life that it becomes unhealthy. I think we're so conditioned to feel guilt over being envious when its a very natural feeling.

True. i think what i feel bad about envying is an unnaturally (in the sense that probably 0.00001% of people are born with that body type, no surgery needed) achieved body. I wouldn't be concerned about it so much if it was like, her facial features, because some people are born with those. But the body proportions in the After see like a pretty unrealistic standard. Same for most Victoria's Secret models - zero body fat, except big boobs and ass.

Though on the other hand, women used to feel embarrassed about having curves, so envying being stick thin and curveless can be just as unhealthy.

It's easy to envy something unnatural because its a feeling of "well, if she did it, why can't I?" and realistically, most people cant afford to modify their body through surgery, I mean it's expensive enough alone just to eat well.

I don't think being thin with curves is ever going to go out of fashion, it's more about the extremes that become popular and then fade.

Idk man, I get jealous and upset but there's not much I can do to get the type of body I want unless I'm willing to shell out $$$$$$ for plastic surgery and then of course, there's the potential complications/risks/health factors. I guess we all just have to embrace what we have.

TBC i'm not upset, i just wish i didn't find unrealistic beauty standards attractive, is all. Or more attractive than perfectly attractive before pics. But i also support plastic surgery, when done with a healthy, realistic mindset, so no hate toward Kendall or anyone else for that, I can definitely see the temptation when you have endless money and access to the best surgeons who can do incredible transformations, like Eiza Gonzalez etc.
