i hope she's happy and this is good but personally i'd say it's too fast, especially when she's only 31 and he's 26! what's the rush?

Post says they've been together over a year which imo is the minimum time people should wait before getting engaged. So that doesn't seem bad to me.

IIRC she's said that she really wants kids. So i bet that's on the horizon. I just hope she's sure she's in a good place with herself and this relationship first.

Imo there is no general right amount of time before getting engaged. Everyone is different individually and as a couple. 1 year sounds like absolute madness if you are under 50. People change so much throughout their lives, especially people who don't live mundane lives and actually experience things like celebrities tend to.
