She wrote in a since-deleted tweet :

She added in a follow-up tweet, which she also later deleted :

I agree but then I’m also of two minds about it. I had a bf in my 20’s that I tried to break up with a few times but he would cry and wear me down and I would relent. Until one day I just had enough and broke up with him and after breaking up with him, I immediately called my dad and told him. Not because my dad and I are close like that lmao but I knew once I told him, i wouldn’t go back on it. Telling him made it real and final and I hope that this is her version of that, letting the world know to help keep her accountable

Same here. It took a minute (okay, years) and a few tries but it got to the point where it was just "enough; don't need to deal with this bullshit" and left his ass. She's at that age where you start to reaccess toxic relationships that started in your twenties and decide you want better. I wish her well.
