He’s got nearly double the amount of groomsmen as she has bridesmaids. I wonder if it was two groomsmen per bridesmaid. Either way, that’s kind of excessive imo. 🤐

I agree, anything over 4 (maybe 6), on either side, is too much. I read about this one women who had 14 bridesmaids, because they were in the same sorority. And then she was expected to be a bridesmaid for all of them too.
Maybe it's because she was in her 20s when she got married & right out of college. It might be different of she was in her 40s and only saw them once or twice at reunions.

I don't think I'll ever be in a wedding party. The one person who I thought would be likely to ask me didn't when he got married. The other people who would be likely to ask me are unlikely to get married, and, if they asked me to be their best man, I would actually say no.

I think because he's a team sports player, a lot of them are teammates. I don't know that for a fact, but it would make sense.

I’ve been in one and honestly it ends up being a lot of stress and expense. Way better just enjoying the day as a guest!
