I watched this finale at my parents' place last night, haven't watched the show for years at this point, since well before COVID, and during a conversation about dancers who aren't on the show anymore, my mom (who isn't one to talk about celebrities' private lives as a general rule) out of nowhere goes, "I wonder if Max is a nightmare irl, because Peta has seemed totally browbeaten for years, since they got married."

i found myself thinking she’s actually a pretty bad actress. i’m happy that a poc (and one who was consistently good) won though. it also means that constant “omg, really?!” and giggling has stopped. i swear val had to be more annoyed than us by the end 😂

Xochitl was great but compared to Charli who was flawless, it was kind of lackluster? I don't know. I've become a Jason Mraz stan now.
