Coming back to this post later and to the people who thumbsed down, I didn't actually say he was ugly. I said it's insulting to suggest a human could do a better job in the Kentucky Derby than horses do despite the appalling way race horses are treated.

I was at the cinema recently and I saw his trailer for "Ferrari". This man STAYS booked.

I'm sure he's aware that for every negative comment, there are 10 positive ones from people that are actually pay his salary.

I'm all for shitting on overrated men's looks in the safety of ONTD but as a professional reviewer/critic, I think it's bizarre to come for an actor's appearance, especially when it has no particular relation to the actual work they did.

yeah ia. I've seen it with various reviews of Anya Taylor-Joy's work comparing her face to a fish or this dude to a horse.

It's not witty, just gratuitously rude, nasty and unnecessary to be doing that as a media outlet

yeah exactly. and adam driver is actually talented so the takeaway from a review like that seems to be... don't cast ugly people in your movie?

I can understand criticizing styling of someone in a movie (Every time I think of Kusama's Destroyer, I think 'now why did they put my man in that wig') but was the movie so vapid they had to rely on "wow he's ugly"? They get paid for that?
