This is totally random because last night I was rewatching X-Men: Evolution (as one does), but now thinking and it was such a dick move of Magneto in The Cauldron Part 1 & 2 that Pietro had to fight his way Asteroid M instead of it being a given that he go.

I feel like Ozai who burned then banished Zuko and turned Azula into only a weapon is very different to the dads like Mr Turner who just don't really pay attention.

Aside from The Simpsons, I haven't watched any of these so I can't fairly judge, but I will say that Peter Griffin's obnoxious dad character is partly why I've never watched Family Guy.
