How is Fargo only on it's 5th season!?!? Hasn't this show been on forever?!

A quick wiki search shows me it did premiere in 2014 so my memories are valid. I figured it was anthology but even then 5 seasons in almost ten years is kinda ridiculous.

I love Fargo but this season is soooo good I don't want to jinx it. I enjoy is sfm.

I think this season is so good because they went back to a more simple story in the spirit of the original. S3 and S4 were trying too hard.

I agree, especially about S4. It felt like they had too many ideas which resulted in too many balls in the air. It had potential but they got bogged down in all the escalating storylines.
