Dolly Parton, 77, performed a halftime show in a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders uniform with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders alongside her. She performed two of her hits and two songs of Queen. Apparently there was some sort of technical snafu that prevented her from standing on the elevated star-shaped stage, so she had to readjust last-minute.

I watch theme park content on youtube a lot, and Dollywood seems like a great place to visit (their new hotel has free wassail for guests during Christmas). The Disney die-hards even say there are aspects of Dollywood they like more than Disney.

You can sometimes see Dolly there in parades and for opening events, which seems like a million times more awesome than seeing Mickey Mouse.

I saw her outfit on IG and the comments were awful.

First of all, she looks amazing for being nearly 80. I know it’s plastic surgery, good genes, exercise, makeup, and lights… but, still. She looks 65yo at the most.

Second, people were calling for a modified outfit for “an elderly woman”. It IS modified, but honestly would we all fucking die if we see her bare her actual flesh? She doesn’t have to wear an ankle length cheerleader skirt just because she’s old.

Everyone pretends like once you hit 30 you have to cover yourself head to toe.
