I feel like the current usage of crashing a party is more like 'I knew I was allowed to come but I came unexpectedly' because as far as I know they're on fairly good terms anyway.

Also I'd never actually crash CRASH a party. I don't even want to go to parties where I am actually invited let alone unknown parties fuck off I want to stay with my cat.
