Hm, i thought it looked too unfaceted and non-sparkly to be a diamond, but maybe it's just the angle of the clip. I was also thinking maybe opal, which are really pretty.

imo it's either a salt and pepper diamond or a stone of some kind
i thought pearl at first too, but it's too translucent for that, and it's too cloudy looking for either a LGD or diamond
