Has anyone come out in his defense?

The #Diddy clip where he admits to Kevin Hart that he and #Usher would share a bed and wake up together to wrestle and eat Frosted Flakes. Usher is in the clip. Silent. He was 10 & Diddy was 19. https://t.co/7VtnrbrNW1 pic.twitter.com/WgKO20MOms

I think it was the getting arrested, being handcuff to a bench crying & having a mugshot taken, did it for her. She’s Jenny from the block but not from the streets. Lol Also she was probably got tired of his other bullshit.

I read an article on it and it mentioned she was handcuffed to a bench for 14hrs while at the police station. She was smart to get out after that, had she stayed her career (and person) could’ve gotten ruined!

There's something certifiably weird about Rolling Stone gleefully publishing this "history of violence dating back to the 90s" when they were doing fluffy coverage of him well into the 2010s. Like, all you have to do is look up his name in their archive and he's just being covered as a regular musician.

Anyways fuck this guy for being an abusive POS, but this article feels opportunistic and tonally strange coming from this publication.

I'm not defending RS, or any other publication. there's been so much crazy shit over the years that the pieces have been there, but I also think court records and people otherwise going on the record recently provides much more substance to report on versus rumors that can lead to lawsuits.

i think cassie is opening the floodgates and more and more people will go on the record, which empowers others to speak out. it also empowers people to confirm rumors when RS or whoever comes calling, instead of giving a no comment.

Hmm, maybe you're right. Something about the tone sat weirdly with me but I don't disagree that the whole picture was probably hard to see.

Plus, it's a bad idea to write articles based on piecemeal information and street talk; it's a good way to get sued. One of the reasons why Jim DeRogartis was able to start his investigatory articles about R. Kelly was because some families in Chicago went on record with him, and as he printed more articles more and more people came forward. Hopefully, that will happen here.

I think it has always been clear that he has a ton of power and can only be in that place due to being ruthless, and we've always known that he had to be ruthless and was doing crazy things to stay in a place of power..but the separate pieces we have all seen are being put together and the entire picture is really scary. Like we been knew. But now we KNOW, ya know? People are making sure we know, on the record.
