This is my pup. I'm not sure what he is but we're always guessing. He is a rescue and the pound said he is a "westie and shih tzu" but my boi is 35 lbs/15.8 kilos and solid. He also has the temperament of sack of potatoes. He loves sleeping and stealing your blankets. He is so ugly/cute. I'm obsessed with him.

I have three pets! I have a little mini dachshund who's 11.5, and two 8-month old kittens we rescued from our backyard (they were living under our deck). Our little dog is having a hard time being around his sisters, and I'm really hoping for a Christmas miracle where they can at least coexist without hating each other :( We hired a great behavioralist/trainer who is confident that our dog will get there, and believes his issues are more frustrations related to barriers to the cats/the cats not responding to play like he wants. I know it's a slow process, but I can't wait to get on the other side of this!

good luck! my roommate has a dachshund/beagle mix who is 13 and she and my dog (pictured together) don't like each other that much but we're trying to convince them they're best friends. First impressions can be hard to get over! And these two got grumpy with each other right away. but they're getting there.
