It's not weird when the difference between Robert and Kristen's response and treatment got a bit of retrospect a while back.

Now people acknowledge that Robert was being rude and got away with whereas Kristen got a lot of criticism.

Oh 100% that accent soothed the potential criticism. Male actors in general get away with this a lot but a nice accent pushes them further away from criticism.

I think it's almost adorable how diplomatic he's being about Jacob's "experience on the set" as if said experience wasn't simply about Jacob's facetuned Quasimodo ass thinking he's too good for the movie. But good job on the diplomacy, I'm sure he knows that, since he's not a white man, he can't afford to go around shitting on projects that made him famous and still get rewarded for it.

Good response and I'm glad there is slight pushback.

I've never been a big fan of actors trashing the work that helped pay the bills the minute they get a juicy project.

I feel like actors should keep it humble cause one juicy project doesn't always guarantee a long-term career.

The Kissing Booth movies were utter and absolute garbage. Non-sensical, problematic and littered with bad acting. That said, if I’d worked, never mind starred in one, I would be highly diplomatic about them in public. Only my closest friends and family would know my true feelings.
