i checked tate mcrae out for the first time like one month ago when i saw olivia rodrigo calling her her bestie lol.

it seems like she was trying to be a singer-songwriter like olivia for the longest time which doesn't make sense when she can dance so well. this lane works so much better for her.

it's wild that of this brand of pop gworls my fave music to come out of it this year is addison rae's EP

she has the sabrina carpenter effect on me, like I see the teen appeal, she seems like a good performer (I only knew her because a friend liked her post-sytycd music, which seemed less pop than this) but the music does nothing for me, and i like other contemporary acts so idt its just me being old
