Plus how is it even selfish to make a personal choice that doesn't impact anyone else? It's way more selfish to have kids when you're not cut out for it but lack the self awareness. Or when you do it for ridiculous reasons like to help save a relationship, etc.

It's especially funny bc when you ask parents why they want kids answers usually revolve around "It was always my dream, I always wanted a family, I need someone to take care of me when I'm older" and basically a parade of I-me-my-mine. But yes, I'm the selfish one for depriving a non-existent child from being unwanted by their own mom, sure.
