David Zaslav says the writers were actually right about everything all along but suggests they’re overpaid.

“They are right about almost everything. So what if we overpay? I’ve never regretted overpaying for great talent or a great asset.”

Definitely not overpaid, and I hate having to play that game where we beg for equal pay - or the same pay that new employees get. I'm only on call at a facility now, but new employees are getting $5 more an hour than me. I've been there 2 years, almost 7 years in the field. I may finally have the opportunity to meet with someone soon to uh..."calmly" discuss it.

And this douche is wrong, I don't care how much the writers are making. Studio execs are making more.

This is the absolute worst! It’s why so many job hop. But then you’re getting screwed out of seniority benefits like extra PTO. We rly can’t win.

I can say that I never felt overpaid when I worked, I felt underpaid for what I contributed overall. But because my cost of living was so low that I would probably appear overpaid to the unaware.
