I honestly don’t know why she does that to her hair

Did a keratin treatment go awry so now she’s forced to hide away her curls? Are her curls still around even?

I used to have a lot of shame about my hair texture, and would flatten it like that. I don't know her obviously, but I would imagine she has some body image issues and how she styles her hair is related.
