It appears that movie goers are getting a sneak peak at the upcoming Wicked two-part film.

I was about to complain about how I can hear Ariana's vocals on top of Erivo's on Defying Gravity. But I'll reserve my judgements on a clip filmed on a 2006 Motorola Rzr.

Well at least this time you know it's a musical. That edit (about 10 secs in) of Defying Gravity is truly awful though.

I hope the actual trailer is something darker with No One Mourns the Wicked instead. (They'd never do it because happy sells, but it would be so cool.)

why does it have to be two parts?

the running hour for the musical is under three hours. cut a few songs and call it a day.

They had a version of Wicked at Universal Studios Japan that was 30 minutes and ended with Defying Gravity. I didn't know any better that there WAS a second act until I saw it on Broadway after that haha.

exactly. Wicked is a show where the abridged version is better, the 2nd half sucks. If anything, it needs to be tighter and more coherent.
