Also, I might be misremembering here because it was so long ago: were the F1 broadcasting rights sold back to the BBC in 2009? I’m just mentally preparing myself for a lot of stale ITV Sport commentary and editing.

Yes, I’m pretty sure this was during the BBC days with Jake Humphrey as the main presenter and they had the chain as the theme tune and Lee McKenzie did the pre and post race interviews (mad chemistry with Seb) and I wanted her job. Ah those were the F1 days….
