Terrible ending; rushed, stupid, no growth for any characters except for Wendy this whole season. Every character keeps saying they've changed, but not one has.

The fact that it resets to the pilot, except with no animosity between Chuck and Axe is stupid.

The character of Axe was a horrible, greedy person. He profited off of 9/11 and continually caused harm, broke the law, and destroyed people's lives to make himself more money and power. This is NOT the same morally as Chuck trying to take him down by bending/breaking the law to do so. To equate these things is silly.
The thing I did appreciate is Wendy putting Axe down gently and, instead, valuing her family bonds and her own growth.

Prince’s “destruction” was rushed and left too many doors open for him. Oh now he only has 100 million? I was also hoping to see some resolution with the issues with his wife and the dude in China. Among a bunch of other story lines that didn’t get wrapped up.

I’m not anti-happy endings, but it didn’t really fit the tone of the rest of the show imo.

I am a couple of eps behind on this, so I haven't see the finale just yet. It's funny this pre-dated Succession and didn't quite achieve the same profile. I feel like they succumbed a little to writer affection for Bobby and didn't let him face the consequences of his actions when he should have, but maybe part of that had to to do with Damien Lewis' wife's illness.
